Your "Must Have" Toolkit for Self-Inquiry | The Truth Is You

Your “Must Have” Toolkit for Self-Inquiry

ToolKit

When you set out to do a job, or accomplish a task, it's good to make sure you have all the things you need to get it done. If you are putting together a chair with wood, and nails, it's a really sharp idea to have some wood, some nails, and a hammer. That's pretty obvious I think. Likewise with changing a tire on a car. Without something to crack the lug nuts with, you are in for a very hard time indeed.

The same is true for any project, and it's also true for awakening. Before you take a serious dive you want to have all the tools you need ready to hand. This saves a lot of time, and helps make sure your journey will proceed in a straight forward manner. I started my path as a seeker when I was 5 years old. (You can see more about that here.) That's nearly 40 years ago. In that time, I've noticed that not many people in the seeking game take the time to lay this all out for their fellow seekers.

It's time to break that mold.

So, today I am going to lay it all out for you. This post will be the definitive list of everything you could possibly need to not only have confidence in your seeking, but also it will help make sure you reach the end of your journey in short order.

Without further ado. I am honored to present the complete list of tools every seeker needs to uncover the truth about what they are, and dissolve all lies about what they are that have been accumulated in their lifetime.

Ready? Here it is...

1 - Attention.

That's it. I hope you weren't expecting a very long list, because the fact of the matter is that attention is all you really need. A bit of intention to start the process is a good idea, but not 100% necessary.

Really, all you need is attention.

"But, I've always had attention...", I hear you say.

Did you think you needed something special to wake up to who what you really are? You don't. All you need is attention. All you need to do with it is look. Take your attention and turn it on to you, directly, for one moment. That's it. Repeat as needed.

How do you do that? Well, how hard can it be? It's you. Turn your attention away from everything that's not you, and there you are. This is not a withdrawal of attention. It's a focusing of attention. A turning of attention completely in, at you.

That's it. Really. Sorry if you were hoping for more. There really is nothing more to it. 😉

(Apologies for the blatant humor in an area of human endeavor that often gets quite serious. Sometimes you need a little break from that to see what's really needed with fresh eyes. Cheers!)

Don't tell any of the 'spiritual elite'! How will they be able to make their living? I mean, how long would a workshop take and how much cost, to end up with this truth?

I can't help waxing ironic when I think of the spiritual industry'! Less amusing is the process to get out of it… Thanks again.

You know, it's funny Viking Queen, but you tell people to look directly at themselves and what you usually get is blank stares and questions about how to do it. 🙂

I think the basic issue is not that this idea is complicated. Rather I think that it's hard to communicate. I personally think this message is priceless. That being said, I did pay a cost for it, in time and money. I would happily do so again. Along the way I spent a lot more time and money that I would like to get back.

    So it goes. 😉

Thank you Travis – this one I love!!! Cuts right through all the complications, and does it with a very big smile.
A hugely important reminder of what really matters.
    Blessings
