You Know What You Are

I’ve gotten some cool questions over the past few weeks though replies to my email updates from the site, the little question box near the bottom of the sidebar, and from social media sites.  I made this short film to answer one of the frequent ones that seems central to the matter at hand.  I am going to keep producing content to answer the questions you send in, so let me know if there are any questions you have and I will see what I can come up with.   You can drop me a line through the comments, or pop me an email, or use the form, or whatever else you can come up with.  ;)

Thanks!

Hi Travis. Thanks for making this video, although I'm finding it a little difficult to grasp. If you had said that I (the real me – my higher Self) am always experiencing the illusory body I am in now, then it would have made more sense to me … because I know that I am not this illusory body that I seem to be experiencing but am experiencing it fom the level of my true Self. Aahhh! Now I think I get it. By going back to the source, the one that realises it is experiencing the illusory body, takes me to who I am … which is my true Self. By jove, I think I've got it. Please tell me that I have!!!

      Brenda,

I would say you're on the right track. Have you ever noticed that when you listen to someone awakened, or who is speaking from their direct experience, that at some point they say, "I would say.." and then they use a phrase to describe what they are going through?

We are all unique expressions of, and takes on, reality. So, while I would not put it the way you have, it does seem to me that you are on the right track, most definitely.

Anything, and method, any pointer, that brings you back to what you are, will do the trick. My only cautionary note would be (and always is) don't get stuck on particular experiences. Looking at you will produce an experience, but you are not that experience, you are that to which that experience is occurring. From what you posted I can see you see that.

The cool, frustrating, weird thing about looking at you is that you never change, or move. However, everything else does. So, the experience of looking at the unique expression that is represented by you will be always unique. The experience may never be the same, but what you are looking at will be. As John Sherman says, there is no end to you.

I hope I have interjected any confusion into the clarity your post had, but I do feel that getting caught in an experience when we look at what we truly are, is so common place (it certainly has been to me!!) that it deserved mentioning.

Cheers! You've got it. Keep looking. ;)

Thanks, Peter. I try to get to the point in my pieces. Doesn't always work out though. ;)

      Cheers!
