The Birthing of a Book | The Truth Is You

The Birthing of a Book

As some of my frequent readers know, I have been writing a book about my adventures with "looking at yourself."

It's been a long time coming. It's taken me a lot of words to find the ones that seem to get the message across in a clear way.  The comments and feedback I've gotten from writing on this site have been invaluable in that endeavor. Thank you so much!

It is finally time to get the book out into the light of day. To that end I have been putting together a KickStarter campaign to help gather the funds needed to make the birth of this book healthy and successful.

KickStarter, and the whole crowd funding movement is one I wholeheartedly support. The notion that the information age, and the interconnectedness of the internet have gotten to a point where each one of us is free to offer our dreams, inventions, and passions to the world in a big way is one I am passionate about. I truly feel that this is an important part of the human race moving into the next evolutionary paradigm.

Lofty aspirations aside, crowd funding is also a simple and amazing way to connect with others, to make sure there are those who want to share in your work, and improve that work in the process. The genius of the crowd, to my mind, is a slumbering giant that the crowd funding trend helps rouse.

What do you think? Would you like to see a book for The Truth is You? Does the idea excite you? Are you looking forward to participating (in whatever fashion you have available) with this book being born? Let me know! Being in conversation with you is what fuels me to move forward.

Thanks, and Happy Easter!

Inspired by your request, but feeling inadequate to jump in. I have been through a bevy of trauma this past year. Getting back to myself is arriving in small, very small steps, but none the less, happiness is here. That said, what might I be able to add?

I am sorry to hear of your trauma, Annette. I hope getting back to yourself proceeds at a pace that is healing and sustainable. That's more important than my book! I am glad to hear you are able to find happiness on your path of recovery.

To help with the book would not require great effort. Any action at all would be a huge help. Simply visiting the kickstarter page when it goes live would help. As would liking the page on facebook, or through any other social media. Helping me get the word out in any way would be awesome! I'll keep you in the loop.

Thank you for your willingness! Cheers!
