Awakening Interviews: Christine Wushke

Time for another awesome interview! Today’s interview is with Christine Wushke, of innerlightyoga.blogspot.com.

We had a lot of fun with this interview, not least because it took us about 3 weeks to line up!  (It’s taken me a few weeks to actually get it up on the site too.  Life is funny that way, isn’t it?)  Check out her site for tons of awesome content and her delightful take on life.

I hope you get a lot out of this interview with Christine.  I know I did!  Enjoy, and please let me know what you think in the comments below.

Cheers!

When thought, discipline and experience have done their utmost and finally accept utter defeat, they then cease to function altogether. That state is beyond both words and silence. It is neither one thing nor another. The Absolute noumenon cannot be experienced. To know it is to BE it.

BOTTOM LINE : enlightment being is just a conceptual abstraction -there is no me for anything to happen to . concepts happen !!!

Frank, I get where you are going with that.

However, to me the quote speaks of moving beyond the place of "no me." Ramesh says, " It is neither one thing nor another." To try to speak the truth is always to fail since, at best, we can only ever speak about the truth. For my money the course is simple – look for yourself and let the truth wash away the lie.

‘THE JOKE’ – why some, at first, laugh their heads off and/or cry – is that: It (Self, whadidiz) was never NOT FREE and in need of Liberation.

          *two thumbs up*

When the lie of the separate self finally dropped from my body-brain, my very first thought was, "That's it? What a gyp!!" Then I laughed until I cried. ;)

hi travis. i enjoyed your interview with christine. her life experiences remind me of something i read many years ago from the be here now book by ram dass. i paraphrase from memory: a little girl said this: “sometimes i feel like i am a piece of air.”

Glad you dug the interview, David.

Thanks for reminding me of Be Here Now. I have not re-read that one in a while, but I always get tons out of it when I do.

      Cheers!
